I find such joy in tiny things sometimes!
So, okay, here's the thing: Lots of people will believe that, in a heterosexual relationship, the boy may be a geek.
Some of them will even believe in the two-geek relationship.
It has been my experience that people who mainly know The Boy (coworkers, etc) and do not know me so well are not quite ready to accept that, while The Boy is a big damn geek? I am, in some respects, a bigger one. (Damner?)
Case in point: I asked The Boy to pick me up this book from the mall where he goes for lunch. He did, but he ran into some of his coworkers in the bookstore, and they asked what he was getting.
Yeah, they totally didn't buy that it was for his wife. Unintentional humiliation ftw! \o/
(I'm reading a book licensed by Hasbro on the T. I have no shame!)
