Yeah, it's not as much fun as it sounds. *g*
On the up side, um... oh, right. On the up side, I went to a comic con on Sunday, and we're not discussing what I failed to score there (sniff), but I did score: 1 enamel pin of the Atlantis patch; 1 enamel pin of the BSG patch; 1 F-302 patch (go ahead, mock me, but you might want to save it for the other stuff); and 4 laminated ID badges (dude, they're so cheesy, yet I adore them), being a McKay badge, a Sheppard badge, an Atlantis "Off-World Special Ops Team" badge, and a "Daedalus Command Operations" badge. I usually avoid the badges with actual people on them, but, John and Rodney...
Oh, yes. I've renewed my supply of dork points for a good long time to come. Mock at will. *g*
Downloady fun: I realized that you guys in not-SciFi-Channel lands might not get to see them, so here's the little SciFi Channel blipverts (the ones that say, "You're watching SciFi Friday", right before returning from commercial). 1.74 MB zipped, 3 teeny five-second DivX .avi files. There's a Weir/Sheppard clip, a Weir/Beckett clip, and a Teyla/New Guy clip. I know, no Rodney, wtf? Sigh.
I have faith that someone out there can manip some Weir/Teyla action, right? Gotta make our own subversion. *g*
Oh, hey, also of the side that is up: I do, in fact, apparently remember how to write a short freakin' missing scene fic. Yay me! However, I fear I may have forgotten how to leave out the parts that are suck. Boo suck! Ah, well, we'll see whether I'm embarrassed by the thing in the morning. By which I mean, "too embarrassed to show it to anyone else." Embarrassment at all is fairly common. *g*
Oh, and non-GIP, as there was sort of content. Though every time I look at that icon, I get the song stuck in my head. Yup, totally hoist by my own petard, I know...
