SGA military fanwank, S2-flavored

Took last night "off" to finish the Harry Potter book. No spoilers here, just happy to not have to avoid spoiler-cuts, myself. (And to not have to arm-wrestle The Boy for our single copy. Though I keep evilly saying things like, "So, did you get to the part where..." and trailing off with what is supposed to be a mad gleam in my eye, though I probably just look like a goof. I'd never actually spoil him, but it's fun to taunt.)

Right, so--objective appraisal of "Siege 3?" Was never gonna happen. I mean, seriously, no. The squee is far too strong for that. And it feels like everybody else already hit the high points of the ep, so I'm just going to muse about the military ramifications, since y'all's comments made me think on it (most recently thepouncer's post).
