my brain is shutting down from geek-glee!

Happy thing number one: I was listening to one of the commentary tracks on the Justice League S2 DVDs ("A Better World Part 2", to be precise), and one of the creators was talking about having based the storyline a little bit on The Authority, and he explained a little bit about The Authority "for the non-geeks watching this."

Happy thing number two: The Boy told me that the next campaign his Tuesday night gaming group will be doing is from the Firefly RPG. And the GM said that if anyone wanted to be a Companion character, they could, but their character would have to service both men and women. (The group is all guys.)

The Boy, being awesome (and the love of my life), said, "Fine by me."

Happy thing number three: NCIS S3 DVDs came out today! And I walked over to Best Buy during lunch and picked up a set, and now I am listening to Pauley Perrette and Michael Weatherly do commentary on "Frame-Up."

Michael Weatherly just said, "Nice ass, McGee." *flails* Really, that's it, I think I can die happy right about now.
