I stopped being able to honestly claim sanity long ago. But sometimes I like to pretend.
Party was very disappointing. The drinks were weak, and I got nothin'. No screaming fights, no drunken harangues, nothin'. Just people huggin' and cryin' and me trying to stay out of the way of any of that.
We did manage to amuse the catering staff by exclaiming, "meat on a stick!" and partaking with joy whenever they passed us.
