Ahh! Merlin. I think anyone British would be fine for that. It's kind of an Anglo-Saxon/Norman/Celtic/Pictish/Fairyland hodge-podge of WTF.
I was thinking Torchwood, Harry Potter or SGA-from-Carson's-POV. God knows there have been some horrific mistakes made in those fandoms when the Brit-picker was the wrong flavour of Brit ;)
